I am currently a product support for a SaaS platform, but a graduate in IT, is there a chance for me to land a job such as Manual automation tester before going QA tester?

So … are graduates from the bootcamp essentially saying they had previous QA experience when they didn’t? I’m not judging, at the end of the day you gotta do what you gotta do. There’s a bootcamp in my area that does that as well. They have you make a mock resume. But they submit it to their clients. Is that how your bootcamp works as well?

Can a person from another country land a us qa job? Or is your bootcamp mainly for people in the us?

Ummm what? Most QA jobs I see want Java and selenium. What is this guy talking about? Truth: it depends on your region and the tech stack prevalent in that region. Here in the USA, especially in Virginia most companies want these things: Java, selenium, cucumber, api testing, familiarity with CI/CD and other devOps tools. Don’t get me wrong, I see lots of cypress and JS, but this guy is mistaken about the value of learning Java for your *first* QA job. Learn both if you can to maximize your options, start with one and learn how to automate in the other.

Where are the dev, qa and staging environments in this proccess? When you deploy automatically to prod environment it is know as continous deployment, not continous delivery.

Thank a lot. Friend of mine have gone though the same scam and was told he will get money back if he doesnt get the job. But soon after he wasn't able to get it, he was told he wasn't ready for it and no money can be returned until he is ready. But term readiness was very vague 💩

I've been in software development for 10+ years mostly as a IT Project Manager, but 9 months ago I also made a change and moved to manual QA position. Now I'm doing both manual and automated QA of the same product and I enjoy every day doing this. It's never late to make change and pursue what you love and enjoy to do. Good luck, everyone!

mmm not working. it always sends me 'warning: You appear to have cloned an empty repository' or 'fatal: destination path 'test' already exists and is not an empty directory. 'after doing the git clone code. I'm very new to this so I don't get it. I check the folder and it is empty. Thank you very much to anyone that can help me
